A Course in Compassionate Self-Awareness

Mindfulness may be thought of as a large container -- so spacious individually and collectively that it can embrace all realms of human experience -- thoughts, feelings, images and body sensations -- with acceptance and self-allowance. In this setting the MBSR course offers:

Appropriate accommodations are made for anyone with physical disabilities. Homework consists of a minimum of 45 minutes daily practice with guided meditation CDs (which may be used or not) and workbooks provided. In addition to setting aside time for formal practice, informal practice of mindfulness throughout the day is also encouraged. It is very important to make a commitment to attend all the classes and maintain regular home practice.
